The SCHROTH Driver Safety Net is engineered in accordance with FIA Standard 8863-2013 and plays a crucial role in stabilizing the driver within the cockpit.
By effectively limiting lateral movement, the net enhances the performance of all integrated safety components—including the seat, harness, and rollover protection system.
It reinforces the seat’s shoulder and headrest area, helping to keep the driver securely positioned during an impact. This reduces injury risk and improves the overall performance of the vehicle’s safety system.
A standout feature is the SCHROTH-developed push-button release mechanism, which allows fast and secure installation—eliminating the hazards of conventional ratchet mechanisms that can pose additional risks in the event of a crash.
Tested and validated by SCHROTH Racing, SFI, and the FIA, the effectiveness of the driver nets has been proven both under laboratory conditions and in real-world racing scenarios.
